Well, here I am. I'm on spring break which means back home, 4 hours away from college in a small town in Wyoming. It sucks because I couldn't bring my xbox or any of my recording equipment, so I can't really get any work done for 9 days. I can commentate what I've got, but it's just not the same.
Note to self:
Go somewhere exotic for next year's spring break.
As far as gaming goes though, BATTLEFIELD IS WHERE IT'S AT. I'm serious. I'm not considering even touching Modern Warfare 2 until a couple days before the new map pack(March 30th) drops just to get used to the sensitivity and controls again. BC2 is an awesome game, and if any of you are considering picking it up, DO IT. It's slow-paced, but it's seriously fun if you can put the time into leveling up and playing with a good team.
Commentaries: I recently did comms with GoldGlove and PainCakesxX, both are posted on my channel. I've been playing phone tag with Pyropuncher for about a month now trying to get a dual-commentary done, it's just wierd because we're both on different schedules(He's Irish) >_>
Other than that though, lots of good stuff coming. ThatGuyWhoCamps, xJawz, IIIBreadIII, and quite a few others are all on their way. Dual commentaries are an excellent way to expand your viewer base and help the community welfare as a whole.
That's my 2-cents for tonight, hope you guys enjoy these blogs. I'll post them whenever I feel I have something useful to say :P

I agree with you. BC 2 is better than MW2 for 2 simple reasons:
ReplyDelete1) No more one man armies. If you don't play as a team, you're screwed.
2) Instead of getting killed over and over by people camping in buildings, blow them out of existance. Nothing like making a building fall on top of some campers!

BC2 is definitely much more fun at this point. MW2 was my first FPS on a console, so I was completely in-love with it and oblivious to how good or bad it was since I had nothing to compare it to.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I still think it's an amazing game, with the number of bugs / exploits going on... it's not at all appealing, especially with BC2 in my system right now. Even though it's a slower game, I'm still having tons more fun playing it and haven't even thought about MW2 since BC2's release.
Dual comm's are definitely entertaining from a viewer's standpoint. I've recently started commentating myself (http://www.youtube.com/ibashtv - any support is always appreciated) and haven't been fortunate enough to get a solid dual comm out yet, although I do only have ~600 subs, so I shouldn't get ahead of myself.
Keep 'em coming though Muzza and one day if I can hit the 10k subs mark I'll come knocking (haha). Good blog so far man!
